under henvisning til traktaten om Den Europæiske Unions funktionsmåde ,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union ,
under henvisning til Rådets forordning ( EF ) nr . 2012 / 2002 af 11 . november 2002 om oprettelse af Den Europæiske Unions Solidaritetsfond , særlig artikel 4 , stk . 3 ,
Having regard to Council Regulation ( EC ) No 2012 / 2002 of 11 November 2002 establishing the European Union Solidarity Fund , and in particular Article 4 ( 3 ) thereof ,
under henvisning til den interinstitutionelle aftale af 2 . december 2013 mellem Europa - Parlamentet , Rådet og Kommissionen om budgetdisciplin , om samarbejde på budgetområdet og om forsvarlig økonomisk forvaltning , særlig punkt 11 ,
Having regard to the Interinstitutional Agreement of 2 December 2013 between the European Parliament , the Council and the Commission on budgetary discipline , on cooperation in budgetary matters and on sound financial management , and in particular point 11 thereof ,

Den Europæiske Unions Solidaritetsfond ( » fonden « ) har til formål at gøre det muligt for Unionen at reagere hurtigt , effektivt og smidigt på katastrofesituationer for at udvise solidaritet med befolkningen i regioner , der rammes af naturkatastrofer .
The European Union Solidarity Fund ( ' the Fund ' ) aims to enable the Union to respond in a rapid , efficient and flexible manner to emergency situations in order to show solidarity with the population of regions struck by natural disasters .
Fonden må ikke overstige et årligt beløb på 500000000 EUR ( i 2011 - priser ) , jf . artikel 10 i Rådets forordning ( EU , Euratom ) nr . 1311 / 2013 .
The Fund is not to exceed a maximum annual amount of EUR 500000000 ( 2011 prices ) , as laid down in Article 10 of Council Regulation ( EU , Euratom ) No 1311 / 2013 .
Den 11 . januar 2018 indsendte Bulgarien en ansøgning om støtte fra fonden som følge af en oversvømmelse forårsaget af voldsom regn og kraftige storme den 25 . og 26 . oktober 2017 .
