The main goal of the ISOK Project is to develop a homogeneous IT system , ready to be widely used , aimed at protecting the society , economy and the environment against extraordinary threats , as well as supporting decision processes in case a crisis situation materializes .
Głównym celem Projektu ISOK jest stworzenie jednolitego systemu informatycznego , gotowego do powszechnego użycia , celem osłony społeczeństwa , gospodarki i środowiska przed nadzwyczajnymi zagrożeniami , a także wspomagającego podejmowanie decyzji w przypadku wystąpienia sytuacji kryzysowych .
Within the ISOK Project , the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography is responsible for development of referential databases of spatial data , that would be used for crisis management .
GUGiK , w ramach Projektu ISOK , odpowiedzialny jest m.in. za budowę referencyjnych baz danych przestrzennych planowanych do wykorzystania w zarządzaniu kryzysowym .
